Note:	Canada goose nesting , fyi: CANG are not native but have become nuisance residents, this is not a good sign, once CANG take an osprey nest they will often return to take the platform in years to come, they will learn to take other osprey platforms . They incubate up to 32 days causing possibly late nesting of our resident ospreys. Ospreys that nest late in the season create negative impacts on any young they produce. Cang should be deterred from nesting on osprey nest structures , interesting that the nest cam feed has been restored to the general public

There are those that discount research and say that’s not food stress but top ornithologists have spent years studying sibling aggression. Just because there are fish deliveries does not mean a second or third nestling will survive. The deliveries must be plentiful. The fish large enough, the weather kind.
