Date Watcher Adults Eggs Young Observations Photo Edit
May 19 baygirl 2 N N
Note: Hope did not return this year, a new female has been visiting the nest, Beaumont has copulated with her but no serious nest building and bonding has occurred as of today , sad to not see the gorgeous dark Hope but she fledged 2 young in 2024 and both were dark females just like her, maybe we will see them next year
May 23 baygirl 2 N N
Note: Beaumont comes and goes, the new female visits sporadically, no serious nesting attempts , weather looks rough, I miss Hope, maybe Beaumont does too
May 28 baygirl 2 N N
Note: Hope #2 ( until properly named) fluffing the nest bowl and testing it out, laying in the nest this morning, Beaumont brought fish for her and she spent a number of times prepping nest bowl and laying in it, I will watch for egg arrival, might this be too late or is the normal timing so far north east.?
