Note: 2 ospreys at nest area, then male flew off, female stayed on branch of snag the hour I was on the trail,last season just the male was at this site

Note: Both on snag branch, snag nest small, no eggs this season, first for the female, male what you’re saying, is 3rd season, nest was built in 2024, one had fish and then eagle flew over and big chase issued with other ospreys joining the defense team , one came back to branch, now second returned and still has the fish,
