| Note: | Alerted that the Chick was on the ground, about 200’ from nest, along a marshy trail that resident/dogs use to go the the creek beach , chick can not fly, nest is too high to put it back without ladder and HOA permission so I easily captured it and will take to Tristate Bird Rescue for assessment , uncertain the adult male is present and providing fish for this late developing chick , no adult female seen for at least 3-4 days | ||||||

| Note: | Have observed the nest multiple times today, see no adults, the marsh perch that the male used last season is gone, that was helpful in keeping the male near and visible. At this point I have no way to know if the adult male would tend to the chick if returned to the nest | ||||||
