April 10 baygirl 2 N N
Note: Both in their guard tree, plastic trash in nest , the preserves nests have more trash this year than yrs past
April 20 baygirl 2 N N
Note: Observed incubation, and some tussling with “next door birds “
April 29 baygirl 2 N N
Note: No signs of incubation, some human disturbance as there’s a float dock that washed up in the marsh last year, it’s very close to the platform, and was not removed so now part of the landscape, it attracts people to stand on it to look at ospreys and they are not settling down, same issue last year, caused very late nesting with female abandoning chick at 4 weeks, it did not survive
May 4 baygirl 2 U N incubation
Note: Finally confirm incubation, pair is disturbed by people too close to nest at this increasingly busy beach
May 18 baygirl 2 U N incubation
Note: Both at nest territory, male flew around trees, but very windy so no fish delivery, female deep in nest
May 25 baygirl 1 U N incubation
Note: 1 deep
June 1 baygirl 2 U N incubation
Note: Incubating but people are taking digs out into the marsh, female was flushed off nest , so what else is new

June 8 baygirl 1 U N incubation

June 12 baygirl 1 N U
June 15 baygirl 2 N U feeding
Note: Both adults in nest but people flushed make off and female hunkered down
June 20 baygirl 1 U N incubation
