About New Jersey Osprey Project
The Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey plays an active role in helping to manage and monitor the statewide population of ospreys. As a key bioindicator of the health of our coastal waters, it is our mission to ensure the long term sustainability of the state population. Besides coordinating annual surveys of nesting ospreys, we also maintain osprey nesting platforms, where 75% of the known population nests. Thank you to everyone who contributes to this group and project!

OspreyWatch is managed by The Center for Conservation Biology. The project was developed in an attempt to bring together a global community of observers to collect information for the common good. The project is unfunded and, as such, has been created and managed by unpaid staff and volunteers. Please help support the dedicated individuals who maintain the project.
