About Mass Audubon-South Coast
The South Coast of Massachusetts, from the western side of the Cape Cod Canal to the RI border, is home to a significant breeding population of osprey. Since 2004, Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary has been monitoring the annual breeding activity of 80 pairs on nearly 100 nesting platforms in Westport and Dartmouth, MA. Since then the monitoring area has been expanding to cover a wider area in southern Bristol and Plymouth counties, including the Great Neck Sanctuary in Wareham, MA.

OspreyWatch is managed by The Center for Conservation Biology. The project was developed in an attempt to bring together a global community of observers to collect information for the common good. The project is unfunded and, as such, has been created and managed by unpaid staff and volunteers. Please help support the dedicated individuals who maintain the project.
