Note: A pair of ospreys returned March 16 to a nest they occupied last year. A bald eagle arrived on the marsh and alarmed all birds but after he caught a fish he left and everything went back to normal. Male brought a branch to the female.

Note: Female was on nest. When she saw me in the nearby marsh, she began to call repeated. She left the nest twice and flew around the marsh. When I turned to leave the marsh for the local road, she returned quietly to the nest. No sign of male or food

Note: When we appeared with the camera on a pole the two ospreys took flight. It took 17 minutes to install the camera pole and exit the marsh. The male was on the camera pole where he stayed for hours when he was not hunting for fish,. The female returned to her nest. Head bobbing implied feeding which was confirmed on the camera view
