Description
The nest is a new nest platform. A pair tried to nest on the dock for two years. The owner tried to discourage by removing the nest (year one) and placing orange stakes and roping around the docks railings. The osprey still tried to nest and placed sticks in between the stakes. Sticks were hanging on the roping. (year two) This season the owners put up a sturdy platform close by the dock. The osprey used it and now have a safe nest site.
