Date Watcher Adults Eggs Young Observations Photo Edit

March 27 ospreychick 2 N N
April 1 ospreychick 2 N N
Note: Birds were both on nest and mating was observed.
July 22 ospreychick 1 N N
Note: I went under this nest today because I hadn't noticed any activity. As I approached, one adult flew out of the trees and chirped at me and flew away. I've included a pic of the nest overgrown with weeds. The trees have grown up around it making it susceptible. Not sure why the nest failed but it could have something to do with no room for the chicks, the food, etc. I have been observing this nest since 2009 and it has been successful every year until now. So sad.
August 5 ospreychick 1 N N
Note: Susan Mann's brother Keith flew his drone over the nest. I've attached a picture. The trees have now grown up above the nest, probably dropping seeds into the nest since it's full of weeds. The nest was empty. As at the Bay Pointe nest, one of the adults was in a nearby tree while the drone was flying over but he didn't chirp. I continue to see one adult hanging around near the nest.
