| Note: | While I watched, a hawk was perched on a pole near my parking spot and calling; a mate returned the call. After a while the two hawks flew together, soaring around and over the powerlines. The ospreys and hawks seemed to be oblivious of each other. There are two osprey chicks; one was on a post, one was in the nest. The adult was also standing on the nest. | ||||||
