Note: | Observed a feeding at approximately 4pm with both adults on the nest, one on the perch and the other feeding (at least) 2 young. Observed from the parking lot at somewhat of a distance. Cell phone image taken. Happy to see at least two good-sized young being fed. (EDIT) Confirmed, three healthy nestlings. | ||||||

Note: | The Adult Male on this nest is banded with a federal band on the left leg. Code has been reported to USGS and others involved with Osprey banding in this area. He is a 6 year old that was hatched on a chimney nest at Building 2, Ft. Hancock - Sandy Hook just mile or two north of this nest! Amazing. Thanks to Ben Wurst of NJ Osprey Project and Jeannie Hauser who was the bander! | ||||||

Note: | 2 Fledges took place this morning after sunrise. Video and still photos taken of the first flight at 6:12am on 8/2/25 and the first flight of a second chick less than an hour later. One fledge to go! Also observed a Bunker delivered at around 7:45am. All is well here! | ||||||
