Date Watcher Adults Eggs Young Observations Photo Edit
June 20 CyclistBarb 1 N N
Note: 11:45 - 11:55 a.m. One adult was standing on the nest. It was only moving its head, looking around. I could not see its breast, so I don't know if it was the female or the male.
July 12 CyclistBarb 1 N 3 feeding, young standing
Note: 11:00 - 11:30 a.m. The adult female was feeding three chicks. It was very crowded in the parking area with many large trucks, so I didn't want to stay long.
August 2 CyclistBarb 1 N 3 young standing
Note: 12:10-12:40 p.m. There were four ospreys on the structure when I arrived. They were all females; one was the mother. 2 flew off as I was setting up. I confirmed one was the adult, the other was a fledgling. At 12:18 I could see two fledglings above the nest, on the structure. Both were female and had changed positions, flying up to the perches from the nest. A few minutes later, a third fledgling flew back in. I could see that the three on the structure were all female and all three were fledglings with their scalloped plumage.
