| Note: | Nest appeared to be built up; lots of plastic hanging from it! No osprey seen; observed through spotting scope from the NJ side instead of the usual spot in the parking lot of the Narrows restaurant in PA. | ||||||

| Note: | The adult pair was standing on the nest. The female never moved but was vocalizing so loudly I could hear her from the PA side from where I watch. The male walked around the entire time on his thin legs! No incubation was apparent yet. | ||||||

| Note: | 2:45-3:00 p.m. Even though the pair was seen here in May, I saw no ospreys at or near this nest. This has been a productive nest in the past, so it would be too bad if the pair had abandoned this nest. It was also the first active nest I saw in the northwest quadrant of NJ that got me interested in observing the ospreys in this area of NJ. | ||||||
