Note: | 8:50-9:00 a.m. While waiting for the crew to raise the new platform at the Holland Farm nest which is just up the road, I checked this nest and found an adult sitting on it.

Note: | 12:20-12:50 p.m. The female was on the post. She jumped into the nest and was calling loudly.
June 20 | CyclistBarb | 1 | N | 1 | young laying down
Note: | 2:30-3:00 p.m. The female was sitting on the nest. In front of her I saw one chick. There was also a large green plant growing out of the nesting material!
July 12 | CyclistBarb | 2 | N | 1
Note: | 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. The female was standing on the nest. The male was on the adjacent electrical tower. I could see the single chick's head, but at 1:35, the chick stood up displaying its juvenile plumage with white scallops. It is confirmed that there is only one chick at this nest this year.

Note: | 10:35-10:50 a.m. The single fledgling was perched on tower adjacent to the nest tower. At 10:40 it flew off its perch and headed upriver, circled around, and immediately returned and flew over the nest tower. About 2 minutes later it took off again, flew over my car, and disappeared. |
