Description
This nest overlooks the NJ Transit Shore Line tracks in Morgan Heights. It is atop a railroad catenary L pole just north of the steel truss bridge that carries Rt 35 over the tracks. In spring of 2026, it's been rebuilt on the western leg. It is best viewed from Cliff Avenue, just off southbound Rt. 35.

| Note: | In March 2026, I noticed the nest on the eastern leg was no longer extant. It probably got blown away by NJ's wintertime northeaster. By May, they had rebuilt the nest on the western leg of the catenary L pole! | ||||||
