Note: | The last 2 times I've checked this nest I've seen more than 2 ospreys around it. Today I observed one bird on the nest so I THINK she's incubating but then she flew off and she was chirping and chasing other birds. There were 3 others flying around. I think the male who goes with the nest is missing a tail feather so he is identifiable. He was chasing birds today and I saw him last time. The superintendent of the OWD was there and told me that have frequently seen and heard 4 birds. There might be another nest on the property but the other pair is making the OWD nesters very nervous! | ||||||
