| June 25 | Randi V. | 1 | N | 2 | feeding, young laying down | ||
| Note: | When first observed, nest had no adults present. Two nestlings in the nest. However, one adult male perched on a tree some distance away (across the street). As I was about to leave, female returned to the nest with fluke and another male following her, appearing to attempt to take her catch. She was able to successfully land with the fish and covered it with her body until the male left the area. Then she began to eat and consumed about half of the fish before feeding one of the nestlings. The other nestling was pushed to the far side of the nest and cowered down. Did not observe that nestling get fed. Male still perched in tree across the street. | ||||||
