April 19 RC 0 N N
Note: A Canadian goose has taken over nest that has been in use since 2020. The pair that previously used the nest seems to be trying to build a nest on a nearby dock., This is NOT on a boat dock. Two years ago the nest was transferred to new platform and the ospreys readily adapted it.
May 4 RC 0 N N
Note: Goose has taken over the nest and appears to be incubating eggs.
May 11 RC 0 N N
Note: Goose still on the nest. Osprey pair trying to build nest back on the boat dock.
May 17 RC 2 Y N
Note: The goose that occupied the nest over the winter, hatched her eggs, and there are now for goslings in the river. The osprey pair that had previously occupied the nest swooped in, and the female appears to be incubating eggs on the nest.
