April 8 Poppasquash 2 N N
April 15 JayBuckley 1 N N
Note: 2 ospreys observed in recent days
April 18 JayBuckley 2 N N
Note: One in nest, other in nearby tree.
May 1 JayBuckley 2 U N
Note: One nesting, assume eggs
May 3 Poppasquash 1 N N
May 8 JayBuckley 2 U N
Note: One deep in nest, other in nearby tree. Possible incubation.
May 12 Poppasquash 1 N N
June 4 Poppasquash 2 N N
June 5 JayBuckley 1 U U
Note: I'm assuming there are hatchlings, I just can't see or hear them. Osprey in nest was standing with wings out, looking like it was protecting young from the sun.
June 14 JayBuckley 1 U U
Note: Osprey standing on side of nest, possibly shielding from sun.
June 19 Poppasquash 2 N N
June 29 JayBuckley 1 N 1 young laying down
July 5 Poppasquash 2 N 2 young standing
July 9 JayBuckley 2 N 1 young standing
Note: I'm a little confused by this sighting. I think I saw an adult and a juvenile in the nest (see photo). But the juvenile is pretty large, so I'm not 100% sure it's not the other adult. There was an adult on a nearby tree, so my belief is that that one was the mate.
July 17 JayBuckley 1 N 1 young standing
Note: Two well grown ospreys in nest. Possible two young or one adult and one young.
