Date | Nest | Watcher | Adults | Eggs | Young | Observations | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
April 10 | 9989 | EricS | 1 | U | U | ||
Note: | One adult standing on edge of nest the 30+ minutes I observed, so probably not incubating eggs yet. I thought I saw a second adult flying away from the next as I hiked toward it but can't confirm that, and it didn't return while I was there. | ||||||
April 29 | 9989 | EricS | 2 | U | U | ||
Note: | Adult pair active around the nest. Possible mating activity observed. One adult spent significant time on the nest while I was there, but much of the time neither adult was in the nest. | ||||||
May 9 | 9989 | EricS | 2 | U | N | incubation | |
Note: | Eggs are likely. This is the first time this year that I have seen one of the adults actively sitting down in the nest. It's mate flew up after a few minutes with a fresh stick. | ||||||
June 18 | 9989 | EricS | 1 | N | 2 | ||
Note: | I observed one obvious immature bird head and think I also briefly saw a second one pop up. The only adult I saw was flying overhead in the vicinity of the nest. |
