Note: Jin F reports: 1/30,2/3,4,6 5:50-9:10am: nothing to see/hear 2/5 3:20pm - intruder standing on side branch of nest 2/2 5:50-9:10am: 7:15am - intruder/she(dark chest) flying over nest then standing on branch above nest for 5min 2/1 5:50-9:10am: 7:10-18am - 2 intruders flying around rest tree & nest tree many times,then flying around over tennis courts,then above us,then left. 1/31 5:50-9:10am: 7:15am - intruders flying around rest tree & nest tree twice with soft chirping then left NOTE: 40% of nest is gone (will require new nesting material)

Note: Jin F reports: (40% of nest is gone, our birdies are back,1st day is Feb 10) 2/13 5:45-9:05am: 7:10-8:15am - one flying on branch above nest chased by 2 crows, stay on 10m then left,40m later one flying on top branch of rest tree stay on for 20m then left 2/8,9,12 5:45-9:05am: nothing to see/hear 2/11 5:45-9:05am: 7:38-8:25am - our couple with loud chirping flying around/chasing 3 intruders(1 left very quickly),after many circles between nest tree & rest tree with loud chirping, intruders flying away, our couple flying with chirping nearby, then back /standing tall in nest/looking around/very alert, one high chirping occasionally, another flying around a few times;30m later, intruder couple flying back, our couple flying out after them, after intruder landing on rest tree our couple spreading wings with loud chirping on rest tree in no time, then intruder flying into nest, our couple flying right after it, one of them tapping its head, intruder couple flying away following by our couple, no return 2/10 5:45-9:05am: 7:30am - our couple flying into nest without chirping with 5min gap, both standing on edge of nest quietly for 20min,then left together. 2/7 5:50-9:10am: 7:15-25am - intruder standing on branch of rest tree, then high chirping while other intruder couple flying around, then left.

Note: Jinn F reports: 8691 (40% of nest is gone) 2/20 5:50-9:10am: 7am - our couple with high chirping flying around/chasing intruder couple away. 2/18,19 - nothing to see/hear 2/17 5:45-9:05am: 7am - intruder(dark chest) flying on branch above nest,stayed 1h10m then left. 2/16 5:45-9:05am: 7:12am - two flying around above us with a little chirping then left,30m later both back flying around between nest tree & rest tree then left 2/15 5:45-9:05am: 7:10am - one flying over nest tree,1.5h later flying back/ circling once,then left again. 2/14 5:45-9:05am: 7am - our couple with a little chirping flying around between nest tree & rest tree,also over us,then left.

Note: Jin F reports: (40% of nest is gone) 2/26 5:50-9:10am - at 8:05am both flying back,she landing in nest while he flying very high in one place with high pitched chirping for 5m,then both left; at 8:45am one flying back to chase intruder off rest tree,then he back in nest then chasing intruder couple around,as soon as intruder couple landing in nest,he flying over head to scare them away,then he left also no return, 2/25 5:50-9:10am - one flying bypass nest tree with a little chirping & later did it again; at end (9am) both flying around then landing in nest for 5m then left together. 2/24 5:50-9:10am - at 7:12am our couple chasing intruder away,then one standing on rest tree while another flying around,10m later they switch position for a few min then left;1h20m later one flying back / circling around nest tree with a little chirping then left,no return 2/20 5:50-9:10am - at 7am our couple with high chirping flying around/chasing intruder couple away, no return. 2/21-23,27 - nothing to see/hear
March 6 HHI Osprey Watch 2 N N
Note: Jin F reports: 3/6 5:55-7:25am - super windy day,at 6:30am both flying together around,then left,40m later both flying back,standing in nest 10m then left. 3/5 5:55-9:15am - very windy day,at 6:45am he flying circles around,1.5h later he did it again;at end both flying back together,then left, 3/4 5:50-9:10am - at 6:35am one flying high around,2m later another following,both flying together for 8m then left,later they flying around together again,then she flying on rest tree,high chirping while intruder nearby her,she stay on rest tree to end;he high chirping/chasing intruder around/away 3 times,then left. 3/3 6:05-9:25am - at dawn both standing in nest,40m later both on rest tree for long time then he delivering 8 sticks in 30m (wow!),after 15m break he did 2more stick delivery (ttl 10 sticks);during his delivery time she back in nest then rest tree then left; while intruder flying around nest tree he high chirping on rest tree & stay there at end, 3/2 5:55-9:15am - before dawn she already standing on rest tree,at 6:35am he flying / hanging very high in sky with very high pitch chirping for 5m,then chasing intruder nearby away,then both side by side in nest till intruder attach him,he flapping wings / chasing it away again;he back in nest making love with her,they together in nest for long time,after she flying on branch above nest,he trying to make love with her but she flapping him off,he flying out / making stick delivery,then he flying on branch with her for a while,later both out/back in nest,he making love & stick delivery again (total:2 love,2 sticks),at end both in nest. 4:55pm - one standing on branch above nest 3/1 5:55-9:15am - before dawn she already standing on rest tree,later she flying in nest right before he flying into nest,they side by side together for 20m,then he making love with her then delivering stick twice,then making love / delivering sticks 3 more times (total:making love 4 times,stick delivery 5 times...very productive in 2.5hr),he flying around / standing on rest tree / on branch above nest / back in nest many times,at end she standing on branch above nest,he standing in nest. when intruder flying nearby, she/he high chirping till it gone. 2/28 5:50-9:10am - at 6:40am one flying back around nest then left/did it again 20m lalter;at 8:00am both flying back side by side in nest for 25m,he high chirping while intruder flying around,then he jumping up when intruder attack him,he chasing it around,when intruder attacking her,she flapping wings to get rid of it,in no time our guy chasing it away,then standing on rest tree,then back making love with her,side by side with her till intruder back to attack him again,he chirping/jumping/chasing it away,then he flying around/standing on rest tree/back in nest,then he cozy with her to end.

Note: Jin F reports: 3/13 6:00-8:20am - at 7:15am she flying onto rest tree,10m later he flying on same tree 5m later he flying into nest / back on rest tree; after she flying in nest,he making love with her,both back on rest tree; she stay on tree to end & soft chirping occasionally,he back & forth between rest tree & nest many times,in between he made 2 stick & 2 moss deliveries,at end he back in nest with high chirping while intruder passing. 3/12 6:00-8:20am - at 7:30am she standing on rest tree,10m later he flying on same tree,after he flying into nest she flying in nest also,side by side in nest for 20m,both back on rest tree,he back & forth between rest tree & nest a few more times,in between he made 13 stick & 1 moss deliveries,after her stick delivery she stay on rest tree to end. 3/11 5:55-8:10am - at 7:30am she flying around nest tree,then standing on rest tree for 30m then in nest then on rest tree,before he landing on rest tree she back in nest,5m later he flying into nest,they stay in nest to end 3/10 5:20pm - one standing on edge of nest 3/9 5:50-8:30am - at 7:30am she flying around / passing right above nest twice,then standing on rest tree,while intruder couple flying around nest,she just high chirping on rest tree not chasing,later she flying into nest,2m later intruder attack her in nest,she flapping it out then flying out to chase them around / away,then back on rest tree. 3/8 5:50-9:15am - at 6:30am he flying around-on rest tree for many times till intruder attacking him,in no time he chasing it away,at 6:45am she standing on rest tree & high chirping while intruder nearby; at 8:30am intruder flying onto branch above nest,our couple flying around nest tree with high chirping but intruder stay on,surprisingly our couple left (what a chicken!),5m later intruder left also. 3/7 5:50-9:15am - at dawn he flying / hanging very high in sky with very high pitch chirping for 8m while she standing on rest tree,then he standing on rest tree,then both standing in nest,they back & forth between rest tree & nest for 3/4 times;at 8:30am he making love with her in nest then stick delivery 5 times then making love then stick delivery 6 times then making love then moss delivery(total: 3 loves,11 sticks & 1 moss), at end she flying out of nest & delivery 1 big stick (wow) (3/10 - too rainy to play tennis there)

Note: JinF reprots: 3/20 6:00-8:20am - at 7:10am he flying around,5m later she flying in nest followed by him,10m later he flying out/back / making love,he flying out / in many times,she standing in nest to end. 3/19 6:00-8:20am - at 7:22am he flying around,15m later she flying on branch above nest followed by him,they making love,he flying on rest tree then away,20m later she flying into nest before him,they making love again in nest,then he left 2:30pm - both standing on same side branch of nest 3/18 6:00-8:20am - at 7:20am both flying around / over us for several time,later they making love in nest & left together,later one flying around again, 2:40pm - both standing in nest / edge of nest 3/17 5:55-9:15am - at 7:07am she flying onto rest tree then flying into nest with soft chirping before he coming,they made love 4 times in 1hr,at end both in nest. 3/16 5:55-9:15am - at 7:25am she flying onto rest tree,5m later he flying around,after she flying into nest he making love with her,they flying out of nest same time,then she flying on branch above nest,he flying around,later they making love 2 more times,he only stay in nest for 5m & flying around most of time,she flying with him at end. 2:45pm - both standing low in nest 3/15 5:55-8:15am - 7:10am she standing on branch above nest,high chirping while intruder nearby,20m later he flying big circles around nest tree,5m later she flying into nest then he making love with her then flying around / circling,she back on branch above for 10m then flying out after him. 3/14 5:55-9:15am - at 7:15am both flying into nest from opposite directions,staying there most of time,making love twice,each flying out once,she constant soft chirping in 1st hr,at end he flying into nest while intruder passing by. 4:55pm - one standing on branch above nest.
March 27 HHI Osprey Watch 2 N N
Note: Jin F reports: 3/27 6:00-8:25am - 7:08am she flying on branch right above nest,10m later he flying into nest then out,back with large stick,after 3 stick/ 1 moss delivery she flying in nest,they making love,repeat this cycle 2 more times (total: 7 sticks,3 moss & 3 love),at end both in nest. 4:45pm - one standing in nest 3/26 6:05-8:45am - 7:28am he flying around nest tree then landing on bps tree & she too,both cozy together for 50m then she making stick delivery 3 times & he just making circle around nest tree then back on bps tree,she landing on tree near him & constantly soft chirping, 3/25 6:00-8:25am - 7:10am she flying on small branch right above nest,15m later he flying into nest & she too,10m both flying out/onto top branch of bps tree,then he left,she stay there for long time,at end she flying around nest tree then back on bps tree twice. 3/24 6:00-8:25am - 7:09am she flying in nest & constantly soft chirping,30m he flying in then out twice,she standing in nest to end 3/23 6:00-8:25am - 7:30am she flying around followed by him then landing on very top of non-pine tree behind proshop(called bps tree) for 20m, she flying with big stick in nest followed by him & making love,then both flying out onto same tree but different branches,5m later he left. 5:25pm - one standing with high chirping on side branch of nest while intruder flying around 3/22 6:00-8:25am - 7:25am she flying in nest followed by him,5m later both left,at end she flying in nest with big stick followed by him,they making love,then both left. 3/21 6:00-9:20am - at dawn/7:00am she flying on branch above nest with soft chirping,10m later she flying in nest followed by him,he flying out/in a lot, making love 2 times, small fish delivery 3 times-1st/3rd for her/she eating it on eating tree,2nd fish for himself he eating on branch above nest,she soft chirping constantly as soon as he around.
