Note: | The Osprey settled into the center of the top of the cell tower versus perching on the edge of the top of the cell tower. This is earliest documented annual arrival to this nest to-date. Previous season’s arrival: 2/25/19, 3/1/23, 3/11/24.

February 26 | LauraLOVESbirds | 1 | U | N
Note: | From I-464 N, I watched an Osprey ascend from the Berkley Bridge area, fly up to the cell tower and land in the center of the top where the nest is. A moment later, the Osprey left the cell tower descending towards the east. (Likely nest building.) This was 70 minutes after sunrise.
March 4 | LauraLOVESbirds | 2 | U | N
Note: | Together - on top of cell tower with nest. I was stopped in traffic and viewed Ospreys via binoculars. |
