LNR
Description
Nest is on the northeast tower of the soccer field. The beginnings of the nest were sticks placed there perhaps 2 years ago as a "frustration nest" when the nest on the southwest tower failed. It was unclear until today 4/2/2025 since it is the first day that both tower nests were occupied by a pair of osprey. Previously, one or two osprey were observed at either nest and flying from one to the other, but never two occupied nests.

| Note: | The first time I saw an osprey at the nest was 3/10, but it did not stay. 3/30 was the first time I saw a pair of osprey at this nest. One left and returned with nesting material (branch). | ||||||

| Note: | Nest is too high to know if any chicks have hatched, but the female has been low in the nest for weeks. During the time of check, the male was not observed at the nest although it has been seen around from our office window. | ||||||
| May 21 | LNR | 2 | U | N | incubation | ||
| Note: | The female has been so low in the nest she was not visible this morning. Not known if there are chicks, but I can't submit the form unless I guess. As I was leaving the office the male swooped in from the southeast tower where he had been eating a fish, stopped briefly to deliver the fish, and flew east. At that time the female's head was visible. | ||||||
