Note: | I believe that this nest may belong to the pair that arrived around 3/18/2025 since that was where I first observed osprey this spring. They also were perching in places the pair that had been here in the past did not perch (e.g., the crossbar on the flag pole. On 4/2/2025 this nest had a pair of osprey sitting in it at 8:20 when the other nest was also occupied by a pair of osprey. | ||||||

Note: | I am beginning to think this nest failed for unknown reasons. I have not observed birds at the nest in the last 2 or 3 weeks. Today an osprey flew in and landed next to the nest with a fish and proceeded to eat the fish. Another osprey flew over the nest provoking calls from the osprey next to the nest and from an osprey in a nearby tree. There was no osprey visible in the nest. I have no idea if there were eggs, but wrote no because I could not otherwise complete the form. |
OspreyWatch is managed by The Center for Conservation Biology. The project was developed in an attempt to bring together a global community of observers to collect information for the common good.
