Note: MAT reports: Discovered this nest today. There were 2 ospreys making the nest, bringing in sticks and making lots of noise.

Note: Joanne V reports: Went today to observe this nest and location so it could be added to the HHI Osprey-Watch program. The female was alone in the nest and shortly thereafter, the male flew in. I only stayed about 10 minutes, but they both remained in the nest until I left. I will be looking for an assigned monitor for this nest.

Note: Rick L reports: The nest over the parking area was busy today. The male brought a fish to the female. They attempted to mate briefly. The actual nest structure isn't doing very well though, but it is early.
March 27 HHI Osprey Watch 2 N N
Note: Theo G reports: I have watched both a male and female Osprey slowly build a nest, not sure if they will stay or move to another location due to the process of building it taking a long time. The female is extremely vocal all the time but is making little effort to build. The male has brought her fish which she eats away from the nest. Have watched the male bring sticks but at a slow rate of 1 per 30 mins-hour. Will be checking back each day for photos and observations.
