| Note: | This was the first day I observed the chiick flying ...first time dropped off nest and went below platform and then in less than a minute he flew back to the perch. A few minutes later it flew off the nest and flew north and then south over the nest each time higher and faster. After about 3 minutes he came back to the perch. All this time the adult was in a tree south of the nest watching and calling. | ||||||
