Date Nest Watcher Adults Eggs Young Observations

Note: Monitored the nest 9:35AM-9:48AM on 4/26/2025; weather was 58F & raining/cloudy Upon arriving at the nest site, I observed an osprey (I believe male) flying around the nest with a fish. This osprey landed on the edge of the nest, and a second osprey (I believe female) emerged from within the nest & also perched on the edge. It then looked like the first osprey took flight, hovering above the nest, while the second osprey moved over to grab the fish. The first osprey re-landed on the nest & the second one took off with the fish. A few moments after the second osprey departed, a third osprey flew in towards the nest. The osprey now in the nest emerged & flew towards this third osprey, looking to be defending the nest & driving this third osprey away. After this conflict, the original osprey landed back in the nest & was not visible to me for the rest of the time. I am not going to say whether or not eggs are suspected to be present at this time due to the weather, but will follow up next week if the ospreys are still sitting low/non-visible once within the nest.

Note: Monitored the nest from 6:26-6:41PM, weather was 73F & sunny with a slight breeze When we first arrived we saw an osprey flying around the area, but it did not fly to the nest so I cannot say if this is an osprey from Hasbro nest for certain. We did not see any osprey activity at the nest during this monitoring session, just saw some European Starlings sitting below & on top of the nest.

Note: Monitored the nest from 6:13-6:20AM Temperature was 49F, conditions were rainy / cloudy No ospreys were seen at or around the nest, just smaller birds flying around the nest/tower.

Note: nest observed from 3:21PM to 3:44PM, temperature was 71F & conditions were cloudy/windy A few minutes after arriving, an osprey glided in & landed on the edge of the nest; the osprey perched on the side of the nest for a few minutes, flew across to the other side of the nest, then took off again & flew off. I did not see a second osprey in the nest, but when the first osprey landed on the side he was looking down into nest, so I believe the second bird is likely in the nest incubating eggs, and because of the angle I cannot see the head or rest of the bird within the nest.

Note: Nest observed from 5:21-5:35PM, temperature was 59F with partly cloudy conditions When we arrived an osprey was sitting on the tower structure to the side of the nest. After a few minutes, the osprey flew up & landed on the edge of nest, climbing down inside it. The osprey then flew back up & landed back on the tower structure with what looked like a piece of a fish. After a few minutes, the osprey flew back to edge of nest, landed, then flew off from the nest. The osprey then circled back, landed on the platform below the nest, and looked to be eating whatever he flew off with. He stayed here for the rest of the time.

Note: Monitored the nest from 6:50PM-6:58PM, temperature was 75F & partly cloudy/smoky. When I first arrived, I could see the top of one of the adult osprey's heads peeking out from the top of the nest. After about a minute & a half, they ducked back down into the nest, & I did not observe any additional activity for the rest of the time I was there. This is the first time I have seen the osprey within the nest, so I think this may be an indication the eggs have hatched.
