June 6 12129 ilsa Svendsen 2 U N
Note: Nest unattended on arrival. Female arrived around 10:45 and began vocalizing. Male circling overhead, but not landing. Then another male arrived and settled in nest appearing agitated and maybe defensive. Second male continued to circle and fly over nest before leaving. Both adults remained in nest. I’ve seen this nest unattended several times this week with female sitting in a nearby tree. Status of eggs/young unknown.
June 9 12131 ilsa Svendsen 2 N U feeding
Note: Male delivered fish at 4:35 to female on nest. Observed her feeding young. Saw a little head taking food.
