Note: New nest 2025, there is a fairly large nest on the power line pole, looks like it’s been there for awhile just never aware of it until this year. Today the female was in a tree and the male flew in with a stick arranging it in the nest then flew to nearby tree to rest.

April 22 11824 BonBon 0 N N
Note: This nest failed last year, they never built a nest but started a nest on the power lines further down but didn’t complete it. There is nothing happening on that platform. There is a pair building a new nest on the power lines further down which will be named and pinned on map.
May 1 12131 BonBon 2 U N incubation
Note: Both adults were in the nest, both sitting very low in the nest, I’m assuming the female was on the eggs and he was just sitting there, the female has been incubating.
May 1 12123 BonBon 1 U N incubation
Note: Adult female incubating, I did not observe the male today
May 1 12124 BonBon 1 U N incubation
Note: This nest is far away in the gravel pit on top of some kind of wooden structure, so it’s difficult to see, but I could see the top of the female’s head in the nest incubating. This nest is across the street from the Pee Wee field, there were 3 Osprey flying overhead chirping at each other.
May 3 12118 BonBon 2 N N
Note: Both adults were sitting on the nest side, I’m wondering why she is not incubating yet, hmmm, they both arrived Mach 19, there are crows around, I’m sure they are probably harassing them.
May 3 12115 BonBon 1 U N incubation
Note: Could just see the top of the Female’s head, she’s incubating.
May 4 12116 BonBon 2 N N
Note: Both adults were on the tower, the female was preening, the male flew away chirping.
May 4 12122 BonBon 2 U N incubation
Note: The male flew to the cell tower with a stick, put the stick in the nest, I could here the female chirping at him, I’m assuming she is incubating because she was in the nest but it’s obviously very high cell tower.
May 4 11822 BonBon 2 U N incubation
Note: Female in nest incubating, male on nearby power line poles preening
May 5 12125 BonBon 1 U N incubation
Note: Female is incubating, did not observe the male today.
May 5 12114 BonBon 0 N N
Note: I have not observed any Osprey here since April 12, they were both at the nest, hopefully she is incubating.
May 12 12114 BonBon 1 U N incubation
Note: After many checks on this nest I finally saw the female pop her head up, so I can confirm she is incubating.
May 13 12118 BonBon 2 U N incubation
Note: This female is finally incubating, the male was on a nearby perch preening, not sure what took so long because they did arrive March 18
May 14 12116 BonBon 2 U N incubation
Note: The male flew in with a small fish and dropped it in the nest, then flew away. I’m guessing the female is in the nest incubating but it’s very high and difficult to see her.
May 14 11822 BonBon 2 U N incubation
Note: Male flies to nest with a small fish but doesn’t give it to the female, he flies over to the nearby power line poles , she was chirping at him to come back.

Note: Female continues to incubate.
May 20 12122 BonBon 2 N N
Note: Female sitting on tower, a male flew overhead and landed on the nest but she quickly chased him away chirping loudly at him, then they flew away, guess it wasn’t her guy, what’s happening here????
May 20 12241 BonBon 2 U N incubation
Note: Female very low in the nest, I didn’t see her until the male flew in and copulated with her, I’m assuming she’s incubating and will have another egg soon, the male flies to nearby tree to rest.
May 20 12115 BonBon 1 U N incubation
Note: Was lucky enough to see the female pop her head up and stretched her wing, she’s still incubating
May 21 12123 BonBon 1 U N incubation
Note: Female still incubating.
June 2 12115 BonBon 1 N U
Note: The female was on the side of the nest, her back was towards me so it was hard to confirm if she was feeding, it looked like she might be. The nest is very high on a chimney and there’s a lot of weeds growing out of the nest, that’s why it’s difficult to confirm feeding right now.
June 3 12131 BonBon 1 N U feeding
Note: Female on side of nest feeding, hopefully there’s a couple of babies, can’t see them yet.
June 3 12133 BonBon 1 N N
Note: There was one adult sitting on the side of nest, I believe this nest is not successful this year because the female was never in incubation posture, I go by often that’s why I believe it’s not successful.
June 3 12118 BonBon 1 U N incubation
Note: The female is incubating, this pair got a late start incubating even though they arrived here March 18.
June 3 12123 BonBon 1 N U
Note: The female was on the side of nest but not feeding while I was there, I’m assuming there’s babies, we shall see soon.
June 3 12124 BonBon 1 U N incubation
Note: This nest is across the road from the Pee Wee field, it’s far into the gravel pit so it’s difficult to see but with binoculars I can see the top of the female’s head, she’s still incubating.
June 3 12125 BonBon 2 N 1
Note: Female on side of nest chirping, then a little head popped up, I only observed one baby today , hopefully there’s more, the male flew in and sat on the side of the nest then flew away.
June 3 12114 BonBon 1 N U
Note: The female was on the side of the nest, she was looking down into the nest, I did not observe feeding today, hopefully there’s babies.
June 3 12241 BonBon 2 U N incubation
Note: The female appears to be still incubating, the male flew by with a small fish as she was chirping at him, not sure where he went but he didn’t give her the fish.

Note: Adult male on perch, female incubation
June 11 12131 BonBon 2 N 1 feeding
Note: Both adults on nest Female feeding one nestling, hopefully will see more soon,if not one is good. Last year their nest was robbed by crows.
June 11 12116 BonBon 0 N N
Note: Did not observe any Osprey today, hopefully the female is incubating but it’s difficult to see because of the angle on the cell tower.
June 11 12115 BonBon 1 N U feeding
Note: female appeared to be feeding nestling, her back was towards me, the chimney is very high and there’s a lot of weed growth, she did appear to be dipping her head down feeding.
June 13 12133 BonBon 1 N N
Note: One Osprey on side of nest. Pretty sure this nest is not successful this year. Never observed incubation.

Note: I can see an Osprey on the nest but it’s so far into the gravel pit it’s difficult to see, she was incubating, but I’m not sure what is going on right now.
June 14 11822 BonBon 2 N N
Note: Female was in nest then moved to side of nest, I did not observe feeding or nestlings, male was on nearby power line preening.
June 14 12114 BonBon 1 N U
Note: Observed female appeared to be feeding, the nest is very tall but she was dipping her head so I’m pretty sure she was feeding.
