Note: Quiet after the morning rain. Adult in nest incubating, second adult flew over nest but did not stop. No food delivered. I stayed 10 minutes then left when the Red-winged blackbirds started dive booming me.

Note: Adult and young hanging around in nest. Young moving around. Second adult made a flyby but did not land in nest. Adult in nest flew off twice calling out and returned in about two minutes both times.

Note: Can not see any eggs or young in nest, it is very far away. Adult in nest spent quite awhile preening, then standing on nest edge. Something must be keeping her/him there. Saw a few adults flying in area but none stopped by the nest.

Note: Osprey family survived the ferocious storm on July 4 evening and also fireworks going on till the early hours into July 4. Adult and one nestling spotted, other nestling was hiding out in nest.

Note: Finally got a chance to visit this nest by boat. Two adults in or around nest, one adult brought a stick to add to nest. Two little heads could be observed peeping up over the nest edge.

Note: Quiet morning at Vet’s Park. Two youngsters alone and hunkered down in nest, then adult arrived (no food). All three chatted a bit then settled down again. A deer joined us further up the creek, then a huge, large blue heron flew in to do some fishing. Nice morning.

Note: Adult standing on nest edge with one juvenile standing in nest. Other juvenile probably laying down inside nest, out of sight. Adult called to another adult flying overhead, flew around the nest for several minutes, then returned to nest edge.

Note: The nest was empty but after a few minutes a large fledgling (?) came flying in with a landing and take off. Another large bird (fledging) was soaring all around the nest, did a few fly-by’s then landed on the light tower to the left of the nest.
