Note: One Osprey observed in the area. Will be monitoring for pair arrival.
March 1 5437 Rose 0 N N
Note: Osprey are starting to arrive in the county. Quick check and did not see an Osprey at this location yet. I plan to continue monitoring this nest for this season.
March 4 7511 Rose 2 N N
Note: Both Osprey are here and have started adding sticks to the previous nest.
March 15 5437 Rose 2 N N
Note: Osprey pair arrived between May 6 and May 8. Nest reinforcement in progress. A lot of nesting material had remained in place from last season. Observed mating act while there today. A third Osprey flew in, landed on the nest and attempted a sky dance display above the nest while two birds were already on the nest. The male on the nest attacked and chased it away.

April 5 637 Rose 2 N N
Note: Have seen two Osprey flying over this tower (once) and one perched on the top level. Site is difficult due to available vantage points to clearly watch the nest. I do plan to continue to watch for evidence of nesting activity.
April 5 9249 Rose 1 N N
Note: I have only seen one Osprey at this location at a time (it has been reported to me by a friend that two Osprey have been observed here together). It does look like nesting material has been added to the deteriorated nest from last year. Plan to continue to monitor this site for nesting activity.
April 6 637 Rose 2 N N
Note: Two birds seen at tower. There appears to be some nesting material added to the top level. Observed male sky dance display over the tower while driving by.
