Date Nest Watcher Adults Eggs Young Observations
April 12 7766 francie 0 N N
Note: The pair returned to this nest, but have since abandoned any attempt at rebuilding. It was sitting on top of the sign and seemed to get blown often, especially over the winter. We had been watching the last few weeks to see what happened, but I'm guessing, at this point, it is a no-go. There is a new nest close by, and I'm assuming the new nest is this pair of ospreys.
July 10 4975 francie 2 Y 1 young standing
July 10 7744 francie 2 Y 2 feeding, young standing
July 10 7745 francie 2 Y 1 young laying down
July 10 7740 francie 2 U N
Note: We had seen a parent on the edge of the nest awhile after incubation, but they are no longer there. One adult was seen since then, on a nearby pole, but none have been seen for a few weeks now.
July 10 5446 francie 2 Y 2 feeding, young standing
July 10 7725 francie 2 Y N
Note: We don't know what happened here. They were the first ones to arrive this season and it looked like they had young. But in too short a time, they were gone. No one has been in the nest since. They did try to build a new nest on a nearby pole, but it was torn down. This happened a couple of different years for them, with the building of another nest. I'm not sure why they do this.

July 10 7737 francie 2 Y 1 young standing
July 10 4678 francie 2 Y 2 feeding, young standing
July 10 4755 francie 2 Y 1 young laying down
Note: This pair relocated their nest to another pole in this ball field, for some reason.
July 10 6036 francie 2 Y N
July 10 9150 francie 2 Y U
Note: I can not tell if this is one or 2 chicks. Definitely one. This is the nest on the grain mill at the boat landing.
