HHI Osprey Watch
Description
While it is said this nest has produced young since 2002, the nest was not added to the project until 2023. This pair has been named Davis and Lovey...after the golf course. Enter the Eagle's Point development in Bluffton and proceed toward the golf club. The nest is on your left after the Eagle's Point Circle. Note: This is NOT a gated community. If you turn left onto Stratford Drive in the development, you can park and on your left is the 10th hole. The nest is straight down the fairway in the tree.

I am anxious to see the little one being feed but that has not happened yet. NOTE: We do not have an incubation date, but will calculate that if we get the first report of feeding. | ||||||

| Note: | Debbie B reports: As I drove by just now, one baby on the limb the mother usually sits on and one on the edge of the nest. Lovey was on an opposite limb slightly farther away than normal. I am 90% sure it was a baby as it was all gathered in perfect attention as if holding itself firmly in place on the limb. NOTE: Image clearly shows all 3 osprey....adult and 2 young. It appears that both have fledged. | ||||||
