April 13 wmcdonald 2 N N
Note: seen 2 on nest. the male it seems was flying around then landed and tried to copulate. then flew off again.
April 20 wmcdonald 2 N N
Note: Dont think there is incubation as both ospreys came and went.
April 27 wmcdonald 1 N N
Note: didn't think any one was incubating here. One osprey appeared to be nest building. A second perhaps was flying around nearby but only 1 went to this nest with materials.
May 11 wmcdonald 2 U N incubation
Note: mate perched nearby
May 18 wmcdonald 0 N N
Note: no ospreys seen here today
May 25 wmcdonald 1 N N
Note: I believe I saw a small osprey head poke out at me once here
May 25 cathyv 0 N N
Note: There may have been an adult in the nest; I thought I saw a head sticking up at times, but could not be sure due to the distance.
June 1 wmcdonald 1 U N incubation
Note: Just could spy a head inside while I was here. I have invested in a high end tripod so my job has gotten a lot easier here!
June 8 cathyv 1 U N
Note: Adult was roosting on edge of nest, so I assume there were eggs.
June 8 wmcdonald 1 N N
Note: Bird intermittently on rim of nest. Was empty when I first got here but remained when I left. I was here for about an 40 minutes total.
June 15 wmcdonald 1 N 1 young standing
Note: The nestling is very large actually. This was my first time seeing a chick at this nest. It was not possible to see them before - the nest must be very deep. I only saw it briefly so no pictures. Mom came and went a few times.
June 20 cathyv 1 N U feeding
Note: Could see the adult sticking its head down into to nest, obviously feeding a chick(s), but couldn't see the chick itself.
June 22 wmcdonald 1 N 2 young standing
Note: Adult perched on nest. Verified 2 nestlings. Imagine there could be a 3rd but I only saw 2 at a time together. Hungry kids.
June 27 cathyv 1 N 1 feeding, young laying down
Note: Couldn't see the chick(s), but adult was obviously feeding them. Edit: when I looked at the picture, I could see 3 chicks.
June 29 wmcdonald 1 N 2 young laying down
Note: Only saw the two heads pop up later after I had moved further away from the nest. Glad to see each nest with chicks today.
July 6 wmcdonald 1 N 3 young laying down
Note: I watched for a long time as I saw not 2, but 3 chicks in the nest today! too bad no photos.
July 8 cathyv 1 N 1 feeding, young standing
Note: Adult was feeding chicks (2).

July 19 cathyv 0 N N
Note: No activity seen.
July 20 wmcdonald 0 N 1 young standing
Note: I'm not sure what I saw. There was one osprey in the nest at first then it hopped out and perched nearby. I thought there was an adult here too. Empty when I left.
