Note: | I saw this osprey fly overhead at 9:30 am on Route 3 where it parallels I-95 just north of Weaverhill Road. When I checked the nest later that afternoon, I watched as the osprey flew in and perched on the top of the cell tower preening itself for about 30 minutes before flying off. I thought it was quite interesting that it swooped, gave a wiggle, defecated then flew off. | ||||||
April 27 | AOK | 1 | N | N | |||
Note: | I saw only one Osprey in the nest this morning. It had its tail up in the air as it seemed to be preparing the nest. After about 10-15 minutes, it flew off. |
OspreyWatch is managed by The Center for Conservation Biology. The project was developed in an attempt to bring together a global community of observers to collect information for the common good. The project is unfunded and, as such, has been created and managed by unpaid staff and volunteers. Please help support the dedicated individuals who maintain the project.
