Date Watcher Adults Eggs Young Observations Photo Edit
April 13 AOK 1 N N
Note: I saw this osprey fly overhead at 9:30 am on Route 3 where it parallels I-95 just north of Weaverhill Road. When I checked the nest later that afternoon, I watched as the osprey flew in and perched on the top of the cell tower preening itself for about 30 minutes before flying off. I thought it was quite interesting that it swooped, gave a wiggle, defecated then flew off.

Note: I saw only one Osprey in the nest this morning. It had its tail up in the air as it seemed to be preparing the nest. After about 10-15 minutes, it flew off.
