Date Watcher Adults Eggs Young Observations Photo Edit
April 21 Kathy 0 N N
Note: There were new sports lights put up this year, so the nest from last year is completely gone. However, I do see a new nest (in progress) in the same exact location that is currently empty. My guess is that both male and female are flying around working on building up the nest. Since there is a second nest at this site, there were several osprey flying around. There was 1 adult flying around field; 1 adult perched across field on other sports light structure; 1 adult flying over towards water.

Note: Several ospreys flying around this area. One osprey seen perched across the field on a separate light post with a fish in its talons. There are two nests within the same softball field. This nest is the one on the left when parked in the lot facing the softball field. Cannot see any osprey in the nest (either one).
May 5 Kathy 1 U N incubation
Note: One other male osprey perched on light post next to this nest.
May 12 Kathy 1 U N incubation
Note: Male seen perched nearby.
May 26 Kathy 0 N N
Note: None seen today (was only there a short time)
June 2 Kathy 2 N U
Note: One adult seen flew from nest to a nearby puddle on the ground for a drink of water, then she/he returned to nest. Other adult seen sitting on the side of the nest, presume young present.
June 11 Kathy 1 N U
Note: Female off to the side of the nest, presume babies in nest. Male was perched nearby but left possibly to go fishing? Did not witness him come back.
