Date Watcher Adults Eggs Young Observations Photo Edit
July 22 1 N N
Note: Despite the orange cones ospreys made a nest on light post. One adult osprey was sitting on another light post
July 27 wmcdonald 2 N N
Note: Two Osprey in nest. I suspect one was a juvenile but couldn’t be sure without my equipment. Indeed the nest is on the northwestern light pole above the soccer field - not as it’s indicated on the map on the water tower . There are 8 cones on the nest and 8 on the southwestern pole . Dislike.
July 29 Marianne K C 0 N N
Note: I watched a nest on a lightpole on the soccer field for about 15 minutes, did not see a nest on the water tower. I didn't see any activity,
August 5 Marianne K C 0 N N
Note: didn't see any activity at this nest. I talked to a couple Prout teachers, one was the gym teacher who saids birds are always flying around. While both teachers thought the nest was active and busy, neither could confirm a new bird was produced. I can only conclude the nest was not successful
August 8 Chris Chrispy 0 N N
Note: Stopped by since this was on the unmonitored list. No Osprey nearby. 2 field light poles are coned. 1 has a nest. I first reported this location a few years back as being on a light pole not on the water tower. Perhaps there is more than 1 nest.
