A drawing tool has been added to the bottom right side of the map. Click the polygon tool and draw the boundary of your monitoring group. This boundary will be used to alert you when new nests are added to OspreyWatch located in your boundary.

Group Boundary
Draw the boundary one segment at a time, and be sure to close the boundary by ending it on the first point you added.
You can click "Cancel" on the drawing menu to start over. You can also just reload this page in your browser.
Try to use as few lines as possible. Keep the shape simple. Complex boundaries will degrade the performance of your maps.
When you have completed the shape by joining your last segment to your first point, a save menu will popup. Be sure to save the boundary when you are satisfied with it.

About Ospreys in Northwest Oregon
Our goal is to follow and learn about ospreys and their behavior. We teach others about ospreys in an interesting way by telling people their stories over the breeding season. Visit our Facebook page about two of the nests in the group: https://www.facebook.com/TheScogginsOspreys

OspreyWatch is managed by The Center for Conservation Biology. The project was developed in an attempt to bring together a global community of observers to collect information for the common good. The project is unfunded and, as such, has been created and managed by unpaid staff and volunteers. Please help support the dedicated individuals who maintain the project.
