About Friends of Osprey, Hog Island, Maine
Friends of Osprey, Hog Island, Maine, aims to heighten and broaden awareness about the species and its intrinsic value in the larger ecosystem. We educate ourselves and others about osprey by sharing information (research, photographs, film clips, etc), collect and disseminate data, and make observations of the species during nesting season. We aim to create a collaborative, supportive, and friendly learning environment, for experienced and novice learners alike.

OspreyWatch is managed by The Center for Conservation Biology. The project was developed in an attempt to bring together a global community of observers to collect information for the common good. The project is unfunded and, as such, has been created and managed by unpaid staff and volunteers. Please help support the dedicated individuals who maintain the project.
